Billy you are right, it was far less embarrassing to fight Laryea and Evesson than face Broner who may have failed to make weight. You talk such sense.
peace my brother, if i my head was turned twice i would think that description was about naseem hamed. another dope insight by the wise man Slip.
You need to be professional and make weight to be in the ring in the firtst place!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry mate its inexcuseableatsch A la Guzman
They have a 10% rehydration clause for their title fights. For example if Broner weighed in a 130 he couldnt be over 143 fight night He didnt even seem to try to make 130 & has been tweeting about junk food recently. They requested he try to get down to 131.5 in 2 hours & Broner went out for lunch. What would you have done if you were in Escobedo's corner?
:deal Think its pretty obvious if the Broner Burns fight was ever anywhere near an agreement Burns's team would take it in an instant.
Forget Broner/Burns for a minute and the rights and wrongs of losing titles on scales the fact is Billy Nelson is right, Adrien Broner actions are a total disgrace. I read somewhere last night that Broner failed to make the weight then jumped off the scales and started drinking water, refused to lose weight and went for lunch. he had no intention of making the weight or even trying to lose any... Broner has shown so much disrespect towards Escobedo that i'm starting to hope he gets a slap.
The only charge you can lay against Billy - well, the only one I can is when I said that Burns looked tight at the weigh-in for Cook.... which he did - and Billy snapped back and said ''NO, HE'S ****ING NOT!!''. If a fighter is struggling to make the weight he should move up, he shouldn't wait for a KO loss due to dehydration just to satisfy a few people who accusing him of being a ducker or a lazy **** or whatever. What Broner did is as bad as Guzman, the weight differential isn't as bad but still.... you know you ain't making it. It's not akin to John Murray who got his timings wrong and ****ed it all up for himself.
