Don't know if its just me, but it felt pretty good using this thread to get all that out haha.
Feels like some kind of meeting you go to and let out all the things you've been keeping to yourself this whole time, admitting to each other haha

Page 7 and still no Canelo fans. Interesting. Either they think he is the perfect fighter with no flaws or they can't be honest about it.

I really doubt at that point in time Martinez would have fought GGG. And I am a big Martinez fan. Martinez was after a retirement check and GGG wasn't as big back then as he is now. Martinez best money options were Cotto and Mayweather if he could some how convince him to fight at 154lbs. Only way Martinez would have fought GGG is if HBO forced it upon him as they did with the Barker fight.

I agree though that Martinez was a warrior up until he knew his career was almost over. He was on borrowed time. Came late to the game and the knee injury didn't help either.

Why would I put in a disclaimer if someone was my favourite fighter??? Ive mentioned the 2 fighters who I would probably guess are my favourite fighters (Mayweather and Leonard).
I mention Calzaghe as he is a fighter who people comment on even though they aret familiar with the SMW division. Yourself included with that. You post your opinion and are clueless with most of what you write on the subject and still go on about the same thing even when dispelled. Shows you have an agenda.

Now in answer to YOUR question -
I think Calzaghe was an injury prone fighter who had damaged hands

Many here didn't really post their fighters real flaws. Many just posted some off the wall positive sounding garbage to keep from being real. Those aren't real flaws lol... Criticisms and flaws are two entirely different outlooks. It hurts to just to point out flaws? Really??? Lmfao

Good post Kiwi. I must have forgotten that the offer wasnt actually to fight until sept of 17 anyways. Good point.

I agree on your other points. Well said.

K2 bug the hell out of me,Golovkin just leaves the business side to them and probably tells em do what you have to,to make the fight but to have the Middleweight champ fight with no rematch clause is beyond anything I’ve seen as even Kovalev had that against Ward.

To be sure as Wlads jab alone was doing damage against Povetkin.
Sure I read on here that he’d been told to go easy on him which explained him throwing him about as appose to just knocking his ass out

Not sure he likes any work which is a shame cause over those two fights only a few points separated em.

Lol Canelo fans and the word subjective don’t mix.
I like Canelo as fighter and in particular the way he fights as I don’t ever remember him fighting dirty or just stinking the place out.
What I don’t get about him is how his fans and even the commentators look so hard to find something that wins him a round so when he’s gassed after four rounds and taking a breather some folk are still looking for anything from him to buy him a round.
Imo he’s good enough as he is and doesn’t need nefarious judging.
