    If Martinez vs Mayweather happens @ 150 in 2013, Which would be a fair fight?

    Vote! :good

    Sergio Martinez

    * Turns 38 in February.
    * His last fight with Chavez weighed in @ 159.
    * 159 -> 150 (lose 9 pounds for Mayweather)
    * Martinez hasn't fought @ 150 since 2003.

    I wonder how Martinez would look at the Weigh in.

    Antonio Margarito

    *
    32 years old when he fought Pacquiao.
    * Previously weighed in @ 154 and won against Roberto Garcia (28-2)
    * 154 -> 150. (lose 4 pounds for Pacquiao).
    * Pacquiao never fought @ 150 before.
    * Margarito 17 Pounds advantage against Pacquiao.
    * Margarito says he can't remember being in such good shape for a fight. "I'm the best I ever trained and I'm the best I ever been for a fight,"

    154 would have been fair in both fights.
    Pac's should have been at 154 because it was for a 154 title.
    I am pretty sure Mayweather's 154 title would be on the line so they should fight at 154.

    We need to see an end to catch weight title fights.

    someone through in a quote from mayweather who apparently said if he can make 150 we got a fight

    but i think this is an old quote.. im 99% sure he hasent said anything about any possible opponent since getting out of jail

    actually he barely talks to anyone .. if anything he sounds unsure of weather or not he will even return to boxing

    Exactly. Theres a few posters just clutching at straws attempting to defend Pacquiaos awful excuses for fights at catchweights by talking like Mayweather v Martinez at 150 is already a done deal? :huh I'm pretty sure he said that in 2010 when Martinez was campaigning at 154.

    Pac vs Marg but the title never should have been on the table cause of the 150, thats why I see him as a 7 division champ rather than 8.

    I could care less if Martinez fights mayweather, the guy always seems to be chasing mayweather to prove he's the best. What he really is doing is chasing the money he could make on the fight, even by giving mayweather 80/20 split he would still make more then any fight he has ever made. It seems like he wants to fight smaller fighters, but when bigger guys call him out he says oh that's too big for me, I'm a 154 fighter who fights at 160.

    Bro, seriously..what you trying to prove? The original post shows you have an agenda towards Pacquiao and against Mayweather. Do you seriously think Pacs win over Margarito was good or meaningful? And do you realise, Mayweather v Martinez is not happening at 150? It's not even been discussed by their teams...there is more chance of Paulie Malignaggi knocking Valuev clean out than this fight EVER happening at 150!

    However, Pacquiao v Margarito DID happen at 150. And it was bull****

    this was back in Jan. 2012.

    Both are unfair with Mayweather-Sergio moreso since SS is a middleweight.
