    Warren is a good promoter.

Imagine if he gets Wilder over here to fight Fury next year, in the not-so-unlikely event that AJ-Wilder negotiations lead nowhere.

Warren has always padded his fighter's records though. From day one.

Belfast a sell out next weekend
If the MEN Arena sells out
    Leeds does close to 30,000
Conlan fighting in Belfast in June sells out

Suddenly looks a pretty good first 6 months?

It's not a myth if Hearn has said that, those shows have not happened yet! I don't know what they were expecting for Okolie/Chamberlain but 7000 for a domestic fight with two unproven guys looks good to me, I think that's what Saunders/Lee did.

That said, Warren is obviously improving massively on that front.

I wish Frank would employ a proper events manager, a young buck who can connect with what the public want to see in the same way that frank Smith does for Eddie. He’s got Andy Ayling, but he like Warren was also born in the last century.

For example, I will use this supposed O2 card which is a total mess and whilst I know it’s not always easy to secure opponents, it’s almost like common sense is not being applied in interms of what direction he needs to be taking with Yarde,Davies and Dubois in particular interms of balancing their development but also building interest/ticket sales.

Saunders - Murray is an ok mainevent. Not spectacular, but it makes
Sense to have a British opponent whilst they wait for a Major fight.

what about Ohara Davies v Robbie Davis Jnr? Ohara doesn’t need building,Eddie has already done that and he is what he is- a solid British/Euro level fighter who can bang and cause controversy. The back story has already been created and it will make for a tasty build up which should create interest and hopefully move tickets.

Put Yarde in with an opponent he can engage with and again create a bit of a build up- I would go back and offer Ricky Summers the fight. In reality he’s no better then Averalant, but the perception will be because he’s british and sort of well know it will be an acceptable fight.

Dubois v Dave Allen would be spot on matchmaking. The perfect balance between a reasonable step up and also Allen will create a level of interest - Frank needs to force that fight through. That’s generally what Hearn would be able to do - it’s the perfect fight get it done.

If he can do fights like those or similar,I think frank will do an amount of tickets that justifys the 02 and avoids any potential embarrassment.

Generally I think frank can have a good run until the end of the year after a difficult start. Like or Loathe him,we badly need Frank around to provide balance with Hearn. He is a good man and his heart is usually in the right place when it comes to boxing - that’s part of the reason I’m often lenient towards him.

Murray’s top 10 with both the WBO (6) & IBF (8) so it’s a legitimate keep-busy defence on paper. It is underwhelming, but with GGG-Canelo tied up and politics with Jacobs, he needed to keep busy. Even at 35, Murray is a good scalp to have on the CV.

Also, he did not get a gift against Rosado. The 119-109 card was absolutely pathetic, but no way was it a draw either. Murray won it by 2-3 rounds imo but it was an eyesore of a fight. At no point during that fight did I think Murray was close to losing it. Hearn sold that fight as a potential fight of the year...a war. It only got interesting after the fight finished.

This is the biggest thing for me.

First and foremost fighters have to be active because once regular cards are happening everything else can be built and improved on from there but without regular fights, everyone connected is put off.

I hope Frank and his stable of fighter's sake that their situation improves but I can't see it sadly because Frank has been at many years and despite the odd highlight he's getting progressively worse.

Would be mental, imagine if it was at a sell-out Wembley too. Could you imagine Hearn's face?

Eddie's impressions and insults like "Shirley Winkle" are funny in his IFL videos but I wouldn't be shocked if he has offended Dibella and Winkle so much that they will look to talk to Frank and box Fury instead. Fury would take that fight IMO because then he probably would get a 50-50 split in a next fight against Joshua.

    Good shout.

I always thought he was good at building a talent rather than just in general signing an already made star
