What are some of the more controversial fights in boxing history...???

Clay vs Cooper in 1963 at Wembley Stadium. Clay gets knocked down. During the break, Angelo Dundee uses smelling salt to get Clay alert. Then Dundee tears a hole in Clays glove prompting the referee and the commission to halt the fight til Clay can get replacement gloves...!!!

ROFLMAO Once again you are WRONG!!!!!
I talked to Angelo many years ago Yes Clay got knocked down right at the end of the round He got up but was wobbly on his feet. They did NOT give him smelling salts . As for the glove there was a slight parting in the seam Angelo stuck his finger in making the hole bigger and called the ref. They looked at the glove taking valuable time for Clay to recover. They had to continue the fight with the glove as it was. Clay was fully recovered & ripped into Cooper cutting his eyes to ribbons and the fight was stopped. I asked Angie if in his opinion Clay could have recovered in time without the glove damage. He grinned & said Muhammad had incredible recuperative powers so who knows we'll never know for sure will we .
Following that the BBBC mandated spare gloves be provided at ringside I think that still stands

Corner stoppage or a DQ. That's all there is to it. Clay got sparked by a bummy 180 pound LHW.

Henry Cooper had one of the most lethal left hooks in boxing the Brits named it Enery's Ammer lol Clay was clowning around & was a split second late in moving. Cooper nailed him. Clay was lucky it happened right at the end of the round. Only Clays recuperative powers & good corner work saved him

He was 40-14 for the career. A domestic level bummy LHW that wouldn't be fit to even be a sparring partner for any HWs today.

Ol' Enry had a 49% KO percentage against mostly run of the mill borderline or sub cruisers(median opponent weight=200lbs). Not a puncher even in his day against shitty, small opposition.

You'll defend to the death all your brothas like Ali for getting sparked by this featherfisted small LHW bum but your more than happy to **** on and make accusations on all the white euro fighters like Kovalev(before he fought your brotha Hopkins), Calzaghe, K bros, GGG etc.
