actually, way back when Mark "Posion" Suarez dropped Floyd to the body in sparring. Floyd said it was low but Sr told nah that was a good punch.
yeah and he sparred to hard. I know there was an article that spoke of him having head aches and those funny winking actions he displayed in the benn fight prior to any of that. also he really boiled down too much. he should have fought at 175 but Stward had Moorer there.
Emanuel Steward stopped working with Micheal Moorer b/c he wanted to spend more time with what he called his most talented pupil. G-man. They speak on that in either the first or second Julian Jackson fight.
i'll have to look into that. i remember reading that g-man was ****ed up before the benn fight and hearing the horror stories of how much weight he was dropping as a middle. going from AT LEAST 180 and dehydrating to 160 is never good; especially when it's not fat like hatton but solid muscle. G-Man could have been a legend
Is that from a good source evander and mccall not wanting to spar g man? didnt g man knock moorer out in the amatures?
there is a writer who has the article on either ringtalk or boxingconfid also when depleteing the water in your body yyou lose fluid that protects your brain then go get hit in the head. that's why they need to stop that weight cutting ****.
yup. he sparred hard. too hard and hit to hard in sparring. of course evander would kill him in a real fight.
