this i've heard before. i also heard ruiz used to put it on lewis regularly and that's why lewis chose to vacate rather than face his mandatory, ruiz.

Not true about Lennox & Mike in the Catskills. Lennox was handling Mike fairly easily while with D'mato. That's why he chased him so hard he always knew he had Mike's #

I saw Quincy Taylor rock Ray Leonard's world had him on rubber legs. Ray wouldn't spar with Quincy again. He credited this incident for changing his preparation for Hagler's power.

 

I hear it was Holmes who usually dished out the beat down in sparring.

manny steward said that lennox could never look good against ruiz or byrd. when ruiz was his mandatory he opted to fight a very green michael grant who had recently been exposed by andrew golota. lennox chose to vacate. that is a blatant duck.

 

i heard about that...but i also heard a conflicting story about duva running camacho out of the gym for going too hard with pernell. i believe both.
