I saw Tua hurt a lot of guys. He would hurt guys and they would have to stop the sparring. Same with Tyson. He sparred like he fought, full speed ahead.
Lennox Lewis played a lot on the ropes. I was in a couple of his camps and never saw him really taking it to his sparring partners.

Jack Johnson briefly had a young Harry Wills as a sparring partner ,but let him go as he couldnt take the heat.

    "Brewster sparking Lewis"

I remember when this happened. It was during Lewis' training for Rahman 1. Dan Rafael told me about it personally. Brewster supposedly knocked Lewis out COLD.

Philadelphia Jack O'Brien has the distinction of having sparred with both Joe Louis and Jem Mace.

    Hows that for longevity?

I saw that one, chavez also used ssm in the same sparring session, chavez was basically working on his defense letting oscar and ssm throw some combos against him, pretty much JCsr didnt even throw punches, i dont know how old oscar was but he looked very young, oscar landed big combos very fast, but chavez didnt bother... i think pretty much he was working on his defense but at the end of the round oscar lands a nice combo again and it looks like chavez gets a little bit mad because he was in front of a lot of his people then he starts throwing and he lands a nice hook sending oscar to the canvas, oscar stands up quicky then they start throwing each other and round ends, then is sugar shane mosley turn but sugar was more relaxed, oscar seemed like ke wanted to ko chavez LOL !!! Actually the video i think is on you tube...

I know they've sparred before. It's in Foreman's book, and mentioned in some Liston stuff.

I've seen another picture somewhere with their headgear on.

De La Hoya used Margarito as a sparring partner for the Coley fight. And Hearns sparred with Whitaker before his fight with Duran.

    No idea how they went.

Why, sure they are no sparring in the picture, more like posing, but the shadows and the feet positions seem to match. :think

Anyway, it would be cool to have some footage of those two trading punches
