I also have an article about Volodymyr Klitschko sparring vs Sam Peter, Tony Tubbs & 2 other Nigerians circa 2001.

I tried to find it online again so i could just post a link but no success. I could copy/paste the article if anyone is interested.

Leonard sparring with....I think Quincy Taylor in the lead up to the Hagler fight. Apparently Leonards strategy was originally to go after Hagler but after getting his clock cleaned in sparring he decided at the last minute to apply the hit & run thing.

As Flea says quit reading Boxing records and watch the man fight. Maurice Harris was a pretty good puncher he put Jeremy Williams out Cold his war with the much heavier Derrick Jefferson was also good with both dropping each other and Harris hurting him numerous times. Dont go by his boxing record Maurice Harris could definitely hit, he was pretty skillful too i guess he didnt go far since his chin wasnt too hot, seemed to do just enought to lose.
I thought he was robbed against an Older Larry Holmes.

Its a sad thing Wombat.. guys like Mad Dog, Nasari, Brouwer, Artango, Trotter, Aczel, Leglise, Gentzen, Marcetta, Jannsen etc are soon being forgotten... or the recognition of National champs is becoming so limited of late that comparisons are no longer made.

This really is a sad detriment to the game with so many regional belts available to novices.
