Fan of Boxing of fan of a Boxer?

It appears on this forum that there are too many fans of individual boxers rather than fan's of boxing as a sport. Floydettes and *******s alike both blindly defending there favourite boxer, despite the fact that if they took a deep breathe and read back what they had written they would clearly see they are wrong!. I love boxing at all levels whether its the British Domestic Scene or a Superfight of Mayweather v Mosely stature, i will stay up and watch them all, not cheering for one fighter (because he's good looking,funny,cute or has a loud mouth) but , applauding both athletes for getting in the ring and putting on a fight for our entertainment. So please the likes of Rooney out there can you take your bias glasses off and see things down the straight and narrow it not only makes you look foolish and obsessed with a male it also puts off real boxing fans from sharing opinions on this website!

Yeah equally as pathetic!

 

Someone starts a genuine thread asking a question or sharing an opinion and then it ends up as personal argument between posters, pics of boxers as chickens or steroid claims even when the topic has nothing too do with any of those things.

 

suppose yeah they do buy the big fight ppv's but wish they'd keep there biased opinions too thereselves.

 

Thats my point are you a fan of boxing or a fan of a boxer??? Do you only have interest in one boxer and only watch his fights and defend him even when he is clearly wrong or are you a fan of boxing who watches boxing at all levels and isn't biased towards one fighter you can still have the ones who you enjoy too watch more but dont hug there nuts.

PS Football fans and boxing fans are totally differant. Football league teams all play other teams from the same country so too support your town and defend them is a more understandable. Rather than some kid from the Middle of nowhere blindly defending a fighter from the other side of the world. I just dont understand it.
