I thought the fix was in with them talking about Meng. only in the last round did they say it was probably close.

Roy jones two rounds earlier said Pascal should get Bivol which was a hint that he though Pascal had it.

I believe you picked Pascal to win his last 3 fights too.

Yep, same reasoning about southpaws applied to the Browne fight, coupled with him being chinny, and I had a feeling Mr. Draw, would get outworked early, but come on strong late, just a little too late.

Nope, Pascal lost to Eleider almost right after the 2nd fight.. He reconstructed himself after then lost to Bivol and has yet to lose since:ggg:nonono

So what you're saying is, Kovalev beat the life out of him twice, then Alvarez pulverized him, then after 3 vicious beatings, Bivol feasted on their leftovers. Or how about this? Browne, Jack and Meng were not and never will be on the level of Kovalev, Bivol and Alvarez, and that Pascal is just below the elite of the division, and Kovalev's 2 wins, Alvarez and Bivol's 1 win over Jean, have aged quite gracefully. Because he wasn't as done as people thought he was, and it was stupid for people to assume he was. Unlike me, who assumed he still had enough to beat all three.

Froch took Pascals 0.. his resume aged like pink Floyd albums.. for all his limitations the guy is a cert for HOF.. Ward just hugged him to death.. & you Gotta hand it to Pascal, his longevity and the way he stays in shape it's pretty impressive, yes he's on peds but most of them are

Yeah Kovalev stopped Pascal twice and I hate it. the first fight I felt the stoppage sucked given that Pascal can go from looking dead to back to life. Second one Roach and Pascal is a horrible combination he corrected Pascal awkwardness for the fight which was flat out dumb.

Maybe they do it a third time?

Who would Meng be a combination of in one your patented celebrity mashups?

I'd say a mix of Xi Jinping and the youngest brother from Malcolm in the middle.

Very surprised about the odds for those three fight.

I got Baluta +127, Metcalf +160 and Pascal +200 and all three cashed pretty much like clear favs.

This is a great start to the weekend.

I think we potentially see a couple of more upsets this week.

Which ones do you smell a possible upset in?

I definitely smell an upset in the Fierro vs. Nunez fight. Fierro lacks experience but he's an absolute body snatcher who is moving forward like a terminator destroying the body like a nasty and mean mother****er. There is only limited footage of him and he's very young (18yo) but his last two wins were impressive in my opinion and while i think Nunez is solid i really think Nunez prefers the lower paced fights where he can control range and work in his rythm.

Another upset i can see is Herring over Ortiz. I was never impressed with Ortiz at all. Herring moving up tho and he's coming back from a beatdown. One of Herrings big advantages in the past was the size advantage at 130 as he was a massive 130er. Now at 135 facing a young and big guy like Ortiz i don't see the big size advantage albeit he looked a bit bigger on the scales. Ortiz could get outboxed here in my opinion by the Herring jab. I wouldn't be shocked if Herring pulls it off. He's the better boxer in my opinion and if he can make it a boxing fight he might win this.

I can see a few other fights being much closer than people expect: Buatsi/Richards, Balski/Babic and Scotney/Roman.
