    Here's mine.

I believe that Clottey is a even better pressure fighter than Margarito.
The guy throws sharp uppercuts with either hand, kinda like Margarito, only he's quicker.
The odds are favoring Cotto just like they were in the Margarito fight.
The majority of the boxing world says Cotto wins this fight just like they did with Margarito.

We've seen Cotto beaten up by a lesser Margarito.
Cotto has stamania issues, and I think Clottey knows this.

Cottos only chance in this fight is to get Clottey out of there early.
Clottey like Margarito has a damn good chin, so easier said than done.

Cotto has a chance between rounds 1 and 5, where he himself may be taken out by Clottey. BUT.........after the 5th round I see Cotto in retreat mode and under constant pressure.

I pick Clottey to win this fight with smart pressure, sharp uppercuts and counters, and a game plan to take Cotto into deep water.

Clottey by late round stoppage........or by UD

How is Clottey a better pressure fighter than Margarito?, Clottey tends to wait a lot in there and isn't as active as Margarito. To beat Cotto you need aggression and stamina, just keep that up all night to eventually break him down and back him off. Clottey doesn't have the stamina to keep up the aggression even if he decides to. I'm expecting Cotto to outbox him and win a UD, there will be some dangerous rounds where it might look like it's going Clottey's way but I doubt he will take advantage of it. Clottey isn't even a good finisher and Cotto knows how to survive well when hurt and always punches back, Clottey had a blown up, beyond shot, coming off two physically damaging lossing Corrales(RIP) OUT since round 7 and didn't bite.

Clottey by split decision. I believe he surprises many people on Saturday night and outboxes Cotto most of the fight. It'll be 116-112 Clottey on two cards but somehow one of the judges will have it Cotto 115-113.

I think you will see a different Clottey. I think he will be highly motivated, and ready to put on the pressure. I do not see Cotto hurting him in this fight. Once Cotto tries to engage Clottey with body work, and realizes it isn't very effective, he will go back to his headhunting. This ain't motha****in Michael Jenning we're talking about. Clottey is a tank. And I think he will be fully prepared to withstand anything Cotto delivers. The question you need to ask is how Cotto's chin will hold up when he gets tatooed with one of those uppercuts from Clottey.

For the record: Clottey KO 11

Why is my name in the post?

Anyway. I like your prediction for the fight. Not sure on the analysis.

Clottey is very underrated and Cotto is very overrated. Im 50/50 on this fight but leaning towards clottey slightly.

Clottey UD won't be surprised if a TKO happened for either fighter.

Cotto might go back to head hunting but don't expect him to totally ignore body punches like he did with Margarito, he did that with Margarito because Margarito suckered him by keeping his face wide open and Cotto got carried away throwing punches there over and over. Clottey has decent defense so he will force Cotto to throw both head and body shots. With Clottey's stamina I will be VERY shocked if he scores a late stoppage. My prediction is based on Clottey's recent performances, he can be 110% motivated in this one and still that doesn't change his style of fighting, might add some improvements but that's it. He said the EXACT same thing before he went in against both Margarito and Corrales regarding motivation and being overexcited in being a part of a big fight. All that talk goes out the window when the bell rings and it's ability that shines. Good luck with your prediction, I'll be here to give you your props if you're right.

margarito is WAY more of a pressure fighter than clottye. clottey is more patient and picks his counter shots ALOT better. but he doesnt back you down near as much as margarito does

That's the main reason why I pick him to lose, waiting is not the tactic to beat Cotto. Mosley decided to wait and you saw what happened and Mosley 10x the fighter Clottey is.

I think the key in this one will be workrate. If Clottey can up his typical workrate I think he takes this but if not it'll be Cotto by close decision. I don't think Cotto can hurt Clottey, the man has a iron chin and takes shots to the body like a champ too.
