As exciting as it is watching 2 guys swinging away trying to knock each other out I would always prefer watching somebody with the skill to land shots & make the other guy miss.
The sweet science is 'to hit without being hit'
Mayweather-Marquez & Mayweather-Mosely were things of beauty to watch again & again.
Does this make me a ***** or just Flo-curious?

I don't think Bradley/Alexander was a terrible fight. I think it was an okay fight, but the expectations were so astronomical that the result was a major disappointment. I will admit that there was hardly any drama the whole night and the end result was terrible, but Bradley engaged when he could. Overall, I think it was decent barring the expectations of what it should have been.

Yeah it was a ok fight. From 1-10 I would give it a 7.
The thing is everyone expected it to be FOTY status....so wrong.

Tim brought the fight to Devon. Devon just didn't want to sit down and fight the man thus not a great fight.

I wouldnt consider Mosley slick or technical. Still a good performance by Floyd though. As for Floyd/JMM, I would have appreciated it more had it been on an even playing field. Marquez had no business coming up in weight the way he did only to have Floyd come in even heavier than he contractually agreed to.

    Ah well, Id rather be a ***** than a ******* :D

I know the Marquez fight wasnt on a level playing field but the way he schooled him was something else, total shut-out of an elite p4p guy.

Saying all that nothing wrong with a good brawl. Gatti-Ward & Hagler-Hearns were awesome fights.

Smh. Boxing disappointed me big time that night. PBF did whatever the hell he wanted to. JMM was willing to go along with it cuz he was getting paid. Its still sad. If fights weren't fair then whats the whole point in fighting?

In that I agree. PBF made JMM look like a amateur. It was sad to watch JMM get toyed with like that.

Im a fan of JMM but he took the fight & he got paid. PBF just showed that that particular style-match up wasnt even close, before the fight I thought it might be close but I couldn't have been more wrong.

I guess I'm saying I respect guys with the heart 2go toe-2-toe in a blood & guts war but I admire guys with the skills to look on a whole other level than their opponents. :thumbsup

I love watching technical fighters but not so much vs each other, the best match ups are skilled tehcnical fighters vs skilled brawlers.

True. Those make the best fights.
    Taylor/Chavez, JMM/Kat, etc.

whatever style as long as its evenly matched and bloody war. fights like morales - pac 1.

pot shooting is gay to me and well fit in amateur boxing.
