    Pot shooting is gay? Why?

When you can sit in front of a fighter and throw punches without getting caught...thats awesome.

:good. The contrast in styles make for a great fight.

Personally, my favorite styles to watch are boxer/punchers vs eachother.

    Marquez vs Vasquez.

At least he turned it on around round 8 in that fight and finished Hatton. Now his performance against Baldomir although dominant, was still cringe worthy. Baldomir was about 7 levels beneath Floyd in terms of skill level. I'd rather have a root canal and a vasectomy in the same day over watching that fight again.

Give me a technical fighter who can at least bang, and i'd watch him all day every day over a wild slugger/brawler. I just cant stand to watch a technical fighter who has no power and has already predetermined that he is planning to jab and potshot his way to a points victory.

whether the fighter is an elite slugger or a highly skilled slickster, what I like to see is amazing ability.

I'll take a quality slickster over an average slugger any day, and I'll take a quality slugger over an average slickster any day.

I prefer technicians but can appreciate all styles, others should do the same.

Stop trying to label stuff. There was NOTHING slick about that fight. Slick does not mean never engaging. Bradley isn't slick at all. Alexander is fast and gets hit flushly far too often to be considered "slick" at this point in his career.

Guys like you try to find a way to pull down EVERYTHING even when it doesn't even apply. :bart

No disrespect but you're not a true boxing fan if you can't enjoy the chess match that comes with the great science

    This.

What matters is quality and matchups.

fights are a part of boxing too.

If one guy is all technical and his opponent just knows how to fight and knocks his ass out, then I'm sorry to tell you that the guy who got knocked the **** out is the lesser BOXER. Because fighting is a part of boxing no matter how much people try to make it seem like it isn't
