Perhaps, but the point Dolly & Daisy,sorry...Billy and Burnley SHOULD have made was that they are able to justify Hatton being in with Pac through his being huge Box-office,NOT through him being in there as the only Brit who could compete with Pac in light of the fact he didnt compete. As i keep saying.

Furthermore,im not great fan of Witter, but he took the Judah fight at short notice and was inexperienced and intimidated.
He doesnt fight like that anymore and you know it.He'd have tried to win without being Kamikaze, and devoid of reflexes, defense and head movement like Hatton was.
Judah is just an example, but if he had Hattons box-office appeal he would have been in there and made a far better go of it.

Exactly Hatton earned his crack at the elite. No other active british fighter had earned that right. which is what i think Billy was saying.
Maybe Witter could of survived for a few more rounds, but it certainly would'nt be much of a fight:patsch**** me its never gonna happen.
The fact is Hattons had a great career and been great for British boxing weather you like it or not.

No mate - i don't blindly follow anyone - i followed Honeyghan as a 15 year old cos he was from round my way and everyone on the Bonamy estate knew him. We all knew him from the Fisher club too - he was a proper community bod who looked out for local lads - i blindly followed Lloyd cos i knew him .

Who have i slated on here mate? You fukkin made that up you muggit:deal

You have some strange P4P boxers on the list Scurla and quite a few welterweights. Do you want to throw Pavlik and Dawson in there while you're at it?

Why not. Hatton fought a flyweight and a former super feather. As well as having a ledger littered with lightweights and Featherweights. Whats wrong with naming a few fighters who fight 7lbs north. He DID after all fight 7lbs north once against Collazo. He said he was interested in Cotto. Cotto cant make 140 so that would have to be at 147 no? Stop making excuses. All of those men are/were viable opponents. Hatton never fought any of them. But hey he fought the P4P best who rose in weight through multiple weight divisions!!!:lol:

Whose Margarito beaten other then Cotto?

Whose Williams beaten other then Margo?

Whose Judah beaten of P4P stature?

    Whose Berto beaten?

    Whose Holt beaten?

    Torres?

    Bradley?

    Witter?

Your avoiding the FACT that these guys have a similar standard of opposition to Hatton yet you choose to put them on a pedestal because you percieve them to be of P4P capability. The only man on that list with any great form at the level Hatton has gone 1-2 at is Mosley. Everyone else on that list has been beaten well below the standard Hatton has lost at. Selective memory?

You actually think thats a legit argument?!?! Who did Lazacano beat? Who did Tackie beat? Matter of fact who did 90% of Hattons comp beat? There competition is entirely immaterial. If popularity was a prerequisite for the fight game only Hatton and Pac would be left. Who they have lost to and how popular they are is of no significance whatsoever. They are fighters in and around his weight division that are all VERY capable of beating him. But hey its that risk/reward ratio again that YOU "selectively" forgot about..

    Scurla it's ****ing tired man

You are making bull**** points here ... and when anybody responds you move the goalposts or completely misunderstand

That list of fighters is a ****ing joke too, Hatton has fought the widely acknowledged p4p no.1 twice in what, 18 months

Yet you are here saying he's dodged Torres and Judah and the like

What a load of utter ****

Maybe you should learn to read instead of adding your spin and loose interpretation to what i said. I mentioned a bunch of fighters who all would have VERY legitimate chances at beating Hatton soundly. Whats the problem with that?

Same as that here Doggy, and:hi:. I was still in junior school when Sibbo was my man. From my area, from the ABC where my best mates dad was matchmaker and where I later went, thinking about it now - I also liked his style - although it was probably less important to me as a little kid.
As I got older and followed the sport I appreciated more because of their style as opposed to their origins. Hence why I wanted to see the fighter triumph who exemplifies more of what I like over the one who shows less of what I like even though one is my country man.
