With Roach guiding his career and Vegas in his sights, will Khan ever move to America?
‘I don’t know yet,’ he says. ‘I’ll do what’s best for my career. If I have to move out there one day and get away from England, then I will

He is right there is a lot of hate in the Uk for him and it isnt justified. Just look at the posts on this site as evidence. Khan is welcome in the USA and we will give him the accolades he deserves as well as the $$$.

America will not follow a Muslim boxer so soon after 9/11.

He is much more appreciated in Britain.

What? You think America, the ignorant, racist country it still is, is ready to accept a boxer named "Amir Khan" so soon after 9/11, Iraq and Afghanistan?

    No chance.

Who does? He's never done anything there. People who go to the gym may like him but they're boxing people.

Actually dude, I read in a report a while back, that studies showed racism prevails far more in the UK, than it does in the US.

just cause he hasnt fought there doesnt mean hes unknown. He gets a fair bit of press for bein in the wildcard let alone mannys sparring partner. aswell as a world champ at 22, americans tend to support ppl who are successful and deserve credit

    I don't know.

I doubt we would have anything close to the reaction that there was for Obama, if a black man ran for PM. Look at how big Clinton getting in would have been...we did it 30 years ago and it wasn't huge. A black PM would go relatively unnoticed. We don't have any blatantly racist news stations like FOX...in fact, so much of what the republicans say comes across as racist and it's followers seem to be. We don't have anything like the number if extremisists you guys have, taking into account the size differences.

I just don't see it personally.
