...So I've learned an awful lot the last several days in particular, but it's always a running theme with these fantasy threads about certain fighters...

Feel free to add to this list of things not true necessarily, but perpetuated by stigma, stereotype, and ONE case becoming that fighter's M.O. for all fantasy fights...

    I'll begin:

Ken Norton loses to all "punchers" . He freezes and gets starched.

Sonny Liston quits against anyone who can give back. He's a quitter and a *****.

Floyd Patterson gets knocked out in every fantasy match possible; he has the chin of a bantamweight.

Ali wins every fight on sheer guile.

Foreman is bigger than every fighter ever. Forget height and weight. He is bigger. His nickname was "Big" afterall....

Tommy Hearns fades late and his chin betrays him mid-late in every fight against an A-list guy.

Frazier's only hope is to make it to the 5th or 6th round, then he'll start "smokin'"... Before that, he has the chin of a middleweight.

Lennox Lewis apparently has a glass chin; anyone with average or better power has a "puncher's chance" and with his defensive lapses, will KO him...

ESB, I need help sorting this out. If you have more (which I'm sure there's plenty), please contribute to this bull**** so we can recognize bull**** when we see it.

Some of this may be true in some cases, but not in the majority.

    Oh yeah!

Tyson gives up and finds a way out if things aren't going his way... Forget the massive, long beatings he recieved. He quits as soon as the going gets tough.

Joe Louis is only dangerous if you stand still.

Dempsey is the king of the punchers chance.

Wlad has a nervous breakdown if you pressure him.

Jones either cant take a shot or cant ever be hit by one.

And lastly, Duran. Duran is a cliche.

    Holmes is impossible to outbox.

    Ali is impossible to outbox.

Rocky will always find a way to win.

    Evander has no power.

Shavers always has a puncher's chance.

Tua always has a puncher's chance.

Lennox will always lose to any ATG worth his salt because he got starched by Rahman.

Wlad K will always lose to any ATG worth his salt because he got starched by Sanders.

Dempsey is the most brutal finisher in boxing history, under any ruleset.

Without the backing of the mob, Carnera is a timid rabbit.

Louis is immune to return fire.

The Bowe who fought Evander would have beaten any heavyweight in history.

The Douglas who fought Tyson would have beaten any heavyweight in history.

The Ike who fought Tua & Byrd would have beaten any heavyweight in history.

    Tyson is a mental midget.

Frazier has a glass jaw (no idea where this one even came from).

Foreman is a crude arm puncher.

Vitali is immune to being knocked out.

Norton is immune to not being knocked out.

Liston would destroy any man in history because he took out Patterson twice.

Baer could kill any man with his bare fists.

    SNV can't shuck n jive.

Tokyo Douglas, Montreal Duran, Riddick Bowe of the First Holyfield fight, Toledo Dempsey, are best things since slice bread, and are unbeatable.

Marciano was easy to cut (he wasn't that much of a bleeder) and would be cut against Most good heavyweights.

Hagler was only a slugger and didn't take a backward step.

Holmes would be hurt and dropped by anyone who had a right hand.

Robinson was perfect at everything he did.

Wladimir has a glass chin and would be knocked out by the first hard punch to hit him.

Norton had a glass chin and would lose to anyone who hit him hard.

    Prime Muhammad Ali was untouchable.

Prime Mike Tyson was invisible in the first 3 rounds.
