    That is the truth...He has problably been involved in more press conference blow-ups than anyone. Rock Newman helped out too...Remember when he tackled an opponent out of the ring? Elijah Tillary, I think.

    Some fights where the participants were courteous to one another but still played mind games make interesting case studies.

    Louis Schmeling and Braddock Louis are good examples.

    Louis and Braddock both had birthdays in the run up to their fight. On Louis's birthday Braddock sent him a parcel. When Louis opened the parcel it contained a copy of the record "You cant take that away from me" signed by Jimmy Braddock. Jack Blackburn snatched the record away from Louis and refused to give it back.

    When Louis next saw Braddock he warmly wished him a happy birthday. Then after a pause he said:

    "I had a birthday recently Jimmy it was my 23rd".
