Great big man beats great little man .... Floyd atgness is at 140 at 147 he can't beat assassins like Tito, Hearns,Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran, Ray Robinson, or big defensive specialists like Benitez, etc etc

Better but styles make fights. Tito isn't a pressure fighter like JLC and him following PBF around the ring with his clumsy footwork would be his demise against PBF.:deal

If you think that Oscar that Floud fought was the same as a prime Oscar you are stupid.

Oscar is ranked lower than Tito in all respected atg rankings and the other hole in this argument is that the poll says Prime Tito vs. PBF .... the Oscar floyd beat was clearly past his prime .... beating a faded Oscar does not equate to success against a prime Tito ...

Prime Tito would have knocked the DLH who fought Mayweather senseless

Tito can box and has good defense for a come foward guy.

And he's big as hell and one of the better welterweights of all time. Tito's been outboxed, but by who?

    Hopkins, Wright and Roy Jones.........

    Come on ya'll.

exactly and i'd like to see peoples opinions on how PBF would do against Hopkins, Jones, and Wright....imo he doesn't see the final bell against any of them except for Winky depending on which winky shows up....if the winky who fought aggressive with power shots against Vargas, Soliman and Jermain Taylor shows up PBF gets stopped

I disagree, you guys are overlooking Tito's major flaws. He wasn't out of his prime when he was getting completely outboxed by Oscar, nor was he out of his prime when he got clearly outboxed and dominated by B-Hop, although he was fighting at a weight class that wasn't his prime weight and against a bigger fighter. The point is this, Floyd is the ultimate boxer, he boxes titos ears off, no matter how relentless he is, he still has the same flaws and I doubt he could make adjustments to Floyd's style, he never makes adjustments and just comes straightfoward and it is easy to tell when he punches because of his movement, he punches off of his backfoot.. his footwork is so not good. Againt Floyd this would not pan out well. No doubt if he catches floyd with a left it will be interesting to see if Floyd could take it. But I doubt foyd would get hit by it, he would avoid that punch the whole night.

If Sweat pea wasn't well past his prime and a drug addict he beats trinidad.

I presume you're implying those guys beat him because they were bigger. But you said yourself they OUTBOXED him. Yuo don't outbox a guy with size.

I'm in the belief that Tito is one of the most overrated boxers on ESB. His resume at 147 isn't that great IMO. He beat a crack addicted Pea and really got a gift against Oscar after being outboxed for much of the fight. He can't deal with elite boxers and everytime he's stepped up he was exposed. Hopkins put a demolition job and beat him up, Winky put on one of the best boxing clinics in recent memory and schooled him, old man Roy toyed with him for 12 rounds. What more proof do you need? PBF would have given Tito fits and it amazes me that people can't see it. People act as if Tito is just going to knock PBF much like Oscar fans thought that he would do the same. They would be waiting all night long for that hook to land but in the meantime PBF would be wining rounds while Tito would be looking clumsy following PBF around the ring getting beat to the punch and countered silly because he can't make adjustments. PBF will take away tito's best punch it will be a non factor in the fight, much like Oscar's. Another thing people act as if PBF has a glass chin PBF's chin is very underrated and he has never really been hurt in a fight.
PBF beats Tito prime for prime.:deal

you can't be overrated and hold a welterweight crown for 10 years undefeated, thrash the junior middleweight champs and demolish a middleweight champ before eventually losing to an ATG middleweight and future light heavyweight champion of the world...and your other two losses come at the hands of Roy Jones and Winky Wright...the former being an unstoppable force from middleweight all the way to heavyweight and the latter being an ATG junior middle/middle !

No doubt Tito is an ATG but he's very overrated here at ESB but he's not alone in that. While he had a long reign at 147 his resume isn't that great and regardless if he moved up or not he still LOST and that's a fact that can't be ignored and it hurts his legacy.
