Its a toss up man. Tough to call.

I would put my money on oleg by ko. Golota is weak and heartless at times

The Foul Pole! Maskaev did have a hellish right hand, but too robotic. Golota Tko

Oleg's chin was pretty awful, except against Rahman, who he was inexplicably iron chinned against. I think Andrew would be able to TKO Maskaev before he would have time to quit.

But still it's a great match up with intrigue and guaranteed fire works.

Golota gets to Maskaev eventually. There is always a chance that Maskaev can land his money punch, but I don't think prime Oleg, despite having good boxing skills, quite had the hand speed to catch Golota with something big.

Prime Golota outjabs Oleg easily using superior speed, reach, and technique. When Golota decisively commands the battle of the jab, which will be established very early on, the right hands and underrated left hooks start to follow.

Oleg crumbled to a barrage eventually, despite giving a game effort until the moment he is KTFO by Andrew.

    My honest assessment.

I think a prime Golota is far better than a prime Maskaev.

how about prime golota vs adamek right now?

seems easy to call, but dya think andrew would get frustrated with adamek's heart, much like with bowe?

i also think golota ruddock would be all out war!

1996 Golota stops Adamek and beats him up mercilessly.

No doubt about it in my mind.

I like Adamek, but he's not a heavyweight.

BTW JETSKI, your post reminds me of some guy who used to run around spamming The Ultimate Golota Forum who went by the moniker "Ultimate Maskaev Fan" or something to that effect!

And there you have it. An in-depth analysis, without a detail left out, describing exactly the outcome to a fight we all should have been gifted to witness.

Maskaev would be too stiff and robotic to deal with Golota who would end up landing at will. Golota beats him up and stops him before the final bell - albeit after eating some right hands.
