I doubt Tunney has any decent chance, but poster's credibility is eroded when they get wrong-or purposely distort-the size of boxers.
I do not know if Tunney weighed as low as 170 in some of his LHW bouts. So even using this weight would be rounding down.

But you are unaware that he was near or over 190 lbs. as a HW?
And of course this is the weight everyone is considering.

You use the exact same talking points and debating style as all your other accounts. Because you're too stupid to actually change anything and it's obvious who you are every time you come back. If you're a troll you're obviously not a very successful one because you never take anyone down with you before getting banned. Nobody even gets mad or riled up because you're a joke.

    This is your pattern:

-start posts off saying things like "lol".
-newer fighters are always superior to older fighters no matter how terrible the newer fighter is.
-Use the lowest weights for any old school fighter and exaggerate how small they are by dropping another 10 lbs.
-you have a major issue with Rocky Marciano and white fighters in general.
-usually end a post saying the old school fighter gets KOd in 30 seconds because "boxing has evolved". Ironically, this doesn't apply to your favorite fighters who retired a long time ago.
-anyone who disagrees with you is a boomer living in the past and completely ignorant about boxing.
-cant agree to disagree and won't acknowledge anything someone says using childish insults until you inevitably get yourself banned again and again and again.

I agree that Tunney is likely to be nailed by Tyson.
But a skilled enough fighter getting anyone on an off day might survive the fight.
Look at Tillis: smaller than Marvis, lost his last 3 & of his last 5, ran Tyson close, finishing strong.

But I really strongly disagree that Marvis was much, fuhgettibout "100 X" more s,illed than Tunney.
I do not know if Marvis was at all more skilled than the Marine-either way, it is no blowout.
Start a thread, specify that you are talking about skill, not a direct ,match up-but you can suggest that measuring how they would do head to head is fair, assuming all the same capacities but they were precisely the same size & strength.
Men whose opinion you should much respect will set you straight.

Tunney was 65-1-1. A 2 time HW champion, HW champ between 1926-1928.
He beat some excellent fighters like Greb (a few times) Gibbons, Dempsey X2...
Whatever adjustment you are making for era is way too excessive.
Even Ali admired Tunney, he was a great fighter.

That does not mean I pick him against elite natural modern HWs like Tyson, but you grievously underestimate his, & likely many other old-timers skills.

He got banned already man. I noticed after patiently replying to his absurd belief that Marvis Frazier was "100 times more skilled than Tunney".

You diagnoses of his behavior patterns seems spot-on.
It is sad really; that level of mindless bias & tribalism.
