How would you like to see the bracket (who fights who and when), who would win it all, and please consider all in prime.

    Contestants:

    George Foreman
    Riddick Bowe
    Mike Tyson
    Lennox Lewis
    Ali
    Liston
    Holyfield

Also as a bonus (not saying I think they would be the final two) but who would win Prime for Prime between Bowe and Foreman...I think that would be gruesome and bone crushing.

Lets say round 1 of the tournament for me pits:

    Foreman vs. Holyfield
    Tyson vs. Frazier
    Ali vs Lennox
    Liston vs. Bowe

Who would be standing for round two?

Foreman gets outboxed by Holyfield who stays away most of the fight UD for Holy

Tyson and Frazier go head to head blast at each other for six back and forth rounds. Tyson's better head movement and defense finally win out and he stops Frazier in six in a brutal match up.

Ali and Lennox.... Hmmmm Tough one. I'll take Ali by SD. I think he could find a way to use Lennox's size against him and come on strong in the late rounds while Lennox tires.

I like Liston over Bowe. I know he was slow and at times looked clumsy... but what a ****ing beast. I love Bowe's courage but I think Liston outjabs, ad finishes Bowe within 8 rounds.

thank you sir. Let's roll on then, if you don't mind. Round 2:

    Ali vs Tyson
    Liston vs. Holyfield

I do find Holyfield over Foreman interesting, considering we're talking primes and the OLD Foreman gave Holyfield a HELL of a fight. Not disagreeing though, just threw that tid bit in.

Please feel free to make the round 1 match ups whoever vs. whoever you please. And then if you don't mind, lets see how round 2 would match up and play out. Thanks man. I'm a student here, no expert in me, and am truly interested to see what the top dogs think.:yep

Got ya'. Your take is no matter how it gets bracketed, Ali wins it all no matter.:good

Thanks for your input kind sir.

Frazier had a little luck with him though didn't he? Foreman may not get Rope-a-doped in the tournament too.

    Foreman vs. Holyfield - Holyfield
Holyfield in his prime takes a great punch & Forman would have a hard time landing one good enough to KO Holy. Forman's actual "prime" is very hard to determine since he had 2 careers, one which he was more aggressive & younger, one which he was smarter but older & slower.

    Tyson vs. Frazier - Tyson
Awesome fight but Tyson had the better chin, better speed & better combos.

    Ali vs. Lewis - Lewis
I know I'll get some flak for this but LL had a way of beating fighters at their own game. He was bigger, had a good jab & plenty of power so he may even beat Ali by TKO.

    Liston vs. Bowe - Bowe
I haven't seen too much of Liston but I'm pretty sure Bowe won't be KO'd since he never quit trying vs. Golota twice. I'm not saying Golota is anywhere near Liston but Sonny & Andrew both had good jabs.................I don't know, I just think Bowe find a way.

Thanks RUSKULL!! Good stuff, brain candy for a student like myself. If you have time, who would you match in round 2 and how would those go? Very interested to see, and I appreciate your participation.

BTW, I agree with your picks there bro. The only one I may think differently (and you did explain your reasons well) is the Holyfield/ Foreman pick. I would really like to see the younger Foreman against Holy, since he did so well against him old as dirt. But like you said the old Foreman was a very wise fighter.

Round 2 considering my previous picks:

    Holyfield vs. Tyson - Holyfield
IMO Holy beat Tyson twice, albiet with a little cheating, but Mike was frustrated & his punches didn't hurt Holy.

    Lewis vs. Bowe - Lewis
Just like in the Olympics Bowe starts off good but he's eventually overwhelmed by power shots & he's eventually TKO'd, late. Lewis would try to keep the fight on the outside while Bowe would try to work his way inside where he's the better fighter. He never makes it.

Agree Lewis takes Bowe, but when Holy beat Tyson it was the post Buster days, and I'm wondering if the Killer Tyson from around '88 or so wouldn't have busted Holy's ass?

Now sir, if you please, who will be the Tounament Champion? Prime Holy vs. Prime Lewis, hell of a fight there.:yep

Round 3 considering my previous picks:

    Holyfield vs. Lewis - Lewis
Bigger, better, stronger, faster, better jab, better power. Lewis kicks Holy's butt.

    Fantasy Champion - Lennox Lewis

I could be wrong on Liston vs. Bowe & of course Ali vs. Lewis but I'm pretty certain the others would go as I said.
