Hmm Tunney said something to the effect of "in all the rounds i fought against Dempsey i don't think i hit him cleanly on the chin more than a couple times. Jack is next to impossible to hit clean on the chin" He praised Jack's D.

Dempsey vs 6'7 and very athletic Tate. Dempsey's footwork, upper body movement and ability to get inside is better than Povetkin, Chambers, Haye, Adamek, Chagaev or any other top HW.

Guys like Dempsey and Tunney were the originators (or at least used them as did many in their day) of alot of the techniques that get praised as being "slick" today. Even Ali recognized this about Tunney, the interview is on youtube.

 

Dempsey would SHATTER Haye's glass jaw. Utterly annihilate him.

 

yeah that's just fantastic the way he lunges in from 15 ft away with big hooks, and hangs his head about 2 ft forward of his feet and stays stationary right in front of his opponent when he's not lunging.

Do you know enough about boxing to know what that means? It means Haye steps back and rips his face off with right crosses when he lunges. It means Haye steps in and launches his head into orbit with uppercuts and hooks when he stands in front of him leaning waaaay over like he's taking a ****. Learn about REAL boxing, not fantasy boxing, and you won't be putting ass clips like this up as if they're showing something good about him.
