trust me, people severely underestimate today's fighters

haye would give any heavyweight from any era trouble, even ali would struggle against him

Yeah but you forget what Ali said about dempsey! Primitive I think was the word he used. Dempsey if he was dragged from the 1920's to now wouldnt be anywhere in the top 20 rankings of todays weak division. His only defense was his bob n weave style...hands always way low would make an easy pizza face as Wlad would say. :deal And he was too small...being a crusierweight in todays boxing...like Marciano. But Marciano was way better.

Haye might make for a credible defense, but I don't think Ali would 'struggle' against him lol.. There's nothing Haye does that Ali didn't do much better and much faster.

You're so right man. The way Haye couldn't avoid the phenom jabs of 38 year old versions of Ruiz and Barrett show his defensive genius.

What part of not being able tocompare athletes from past eras to modern eras can people not understand?

Jesse Owens was a great athlete. An ATG sprinter if you will. He wouldnt even medal in the NCAA's in the modern era let alone win in the olympics.

Babe Ruth wouldnt survive in the modern babeball era,yet he is still considered an ATG.

ITS THE SAME WITH BOXING!!!!!!!! MAYBE EVEN MORE SO!

Andre Ward would probably take Dempsey let alone someone like Haye, since someone like Ward would be about Dempseys weight if he wasnt cutting.

Doesnt mean Dempsey isnt an ATG for what he did in his era.

    You're right, of course.

Pac would probably stop Dempsey and Floyd would have little trouble with Johnson.

here's the ironic thing: You're the one whose completely wrong and stupid, but you're shaking your head at everyone else. That's irony.

How dare you use verifiable facts and logic when you're talking about DEPRESSION ERA FIGHTERS??? Don't you know they're completely different and invincible??

Jess Willard was a fair bit stronger and bigger than Haye.

Haye has a questionable chin fighting men the size of Dempsey. Dempsey was a ferocious puncher and Haye would be tagged and hurt several times en route to a KO loss.
