Fantasy match - Vitali Klitschko (2003) VS current Anthony Joshua

Lol I still remember all of the people on here and other boxing forums who said Solis was going to destroy Vitali... Ends up getting his brains scrambled from a temple shot and then blows out his knee. They then claimed that Solis was DOMINATING the round before his knee gave out LOL.

Joshua has a track record of destroying guys who lucked out when their opponent blew their knee out.
If anybody wins based off that that fight its Joshua.

Vitali would take him apart. 6-7 rounds. AJ is too green at this point.

Think about it: Whyte rattled AJ in the early rounds and shook AJ's confidence. What would Vitali do to him, with his awkward style, counter-punching style and good jab?

 

Haye predicted Solis will cause "massive problems" to Vitali. There was an army of Cubans on this forum predicting Solis would outdance and destroy Vitali. That was probably before your time here.

 

It's a fantasy matchup for AJ's cosmetic surgeon. They'd be adding a room or two on to the house as a result of this fight.

 

Haye only predicted Solis to win because he lost to him as an amateur. And because he was no fan of the K bros.

97% of this forum picked Vitali to destroy Solis. I just posted two prediction threads from the time. You should read through them because you obviously didn't follow the build-up to the fight.

 

Vitali doesn't have hooks. He only has straight shots . Countering straight shots and pawing jabs is what Joshua does best.
Vitali never went near another big man after the ghost of Lewis beat the giblets out of him.

 

You weren't even on the forum at the time you little git. There was a dedicated Solis thread run by Cuban guys, there was dozens of them in there explaining how and why Solis will win.

 

2003 Vitali still was a power-monster. He changed his style to a more boxer-like approach after having to deal with injuries. Vitali's lack of power compared to Joshua only holds after his comeback against Sam Peter.

Vitali would have knocked Joshua out and he would beat Joshua out of retirement if he so chose to...............However, Vlad will fight Joshua next year.....................

Don't think he would show AJ much mercy and would probably go for an early KO.
