    At what weight?

Actually I think Duran KO's Cotto at 140 and 147. More dynamic, a better boxer outside, much much better defence and better inside.

    Duran TKO in a war.

Duran would win brutally at 140, might be a little closer at 147 where cotto is at a more natural weight but i still fancy duran by tko

isnt it obvious that most people are always going to pick the fighter from old times over the new ones, nothing these days is good enough for the fans of other generations, i tell u it's almost like the old greats weres gods, and today we only have Titans.

    :huh

Either that or it is because Duran was one of the best fighters ever and has every advantage over Cotto.

Not because he is an old timer.

Thats idiotic...its not like were picking ANY old fighter over Cotto, were picking an arguably top 5 p4p in alot of peoples list of all time. Ask me Cotto vs Cuevas and id easily pick Cotto...Duran was arguably the best of his time or atleast top 3 p4p, Cotto isnt even top 5 at the moment. Duran beat a full fledge WW in SRL whom most think would whoop Floyd at 147, most doubt Cotto could even beat PBF...

    Duran by early KO
Combonation of power and skill -- he was like a mini Tyson with lots more energy and stamina.

Alot of ridiculous jumps in weight and fighting well past his prime, hurt his legacy imo.

But easily one of the best latin and smaller fighters in the history of boxing.

It'll be hard to pick between him and Arguello

Him fighting William Joppy and Hector Camacho was ridiculous. And with his height him fighting above 154 was dumb, especially consider that he was a natural lightweight.

At 130 Arguello. At 135 and up Duran:yep

At 140 Arguello and Duran both beat cotto.
At 147 Duran/Cotto would be a short and brutal war that Duran wins. Give Cotto a few more big wins, and I may change my mind.

I remember DURAN during his prime days... he was a BEAST! Cotto is likewise explpsive but I dought if Cotto had ever fought somebody with a caliber of Duran the BEAST!!!
