This is a fantasy solution and will of course not happen, but I wish it would... Stop using British refs for big fights. They can't be trusted. Bring over Americans or whatever. Howard John Foster also did the Thaxton vs Murray fight, which was a truly terrible stoppage. How many times can they get away with ****ing the fans like this? Why are they never held accountable? -- probably because they can just say, "the safety of the fighter comes first"... Maybe sometimes fights should be stopped earlier... by the corner pulling their guy out to save them punishment. Maybe fans are too harsh when it comes to "quitting" in the sport. But when it comes to British referee stoppages... **** this nonsense about "fighter safety". It's supposed to be a brutal combat sport. We have become way too overprotective.
