Someone posted a thread the other day which included Sports Illustrated's list of Lineal Middleweight Champions since 1941. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mu.../lineal.middleweight.champions/content.1.html Take a look through the list, and create a fantasy Super 6...preferably the best possible Super 6. If you have the time and patience, work your way through to who you think would win aswell. :good
Well I've put only fighters that I've seen some fights Monzon, Hopkins, Martinez, Hagler, LaMotta, SRR
based on longevity and era and resume' Tony Zale Sugar ray Robinson Carlos Monzon Marvin Hagler Bernard Hopkins wild card entry - jake Lamotta, based on era ,his resume' and a chin and pressure cooker style that would have gave all of the above plenty of problems.
My 6 top Middleweights are; Carlos Monzon Marvin Hagler Harry Greb Ray Robinson Charley Burley Stanley Ketchel I don't really have a clue who'd come out on top but, gun to my head, I'd go with Monzon.
