Well if its so easy Hughie to win then it's let's fun to include him. For example the Cruiserweight one was more fun without Bellew because everyone knows he would have won
I don't think Parker is gonna stop Ortiz. He couldn't stop Kojanu and all his last 5 opponents went 12 rounds vs Parker
Theoretically. I think if you have those eight names in it's relatively balanced. Wilder would pick Parker or Breazeale. Joshua would pick Parker guaranteed Ortiz would pick anyone i think, he gives a ****. Whyte would pick Parker again or Breazale i think. Nobody would pick Fury. So who has to fight Fury?
Yeah, count me in the minority that still sees Fury as at or near his old self. We'll find out, though even if he loses to Wilder I won't be convinced he is diminished unless he starts losing to sub top 3 HWs, because I think there is a style problem for him there. Anyway, I guess using the Ring rankings I'd have: AJ chosing Big Dom (AJ ko) Wilder chosing Parker (Wilder ko but good chance for upset) Ortiz choosing Povetkin (50/50 fight, I'll go with Povetkin) Whyte being left with Fury (Fury UD win) Fury off the canvass to UD Wilder(head says Wilder, heart says Fury) AJ ko Sasha Fury UD AJ
That's not how it works in this format Joshua picks one of Fury, Parker, Povetkin or Breazeale Wilder then picks from the 3 that are left Ortiz then picks from the 2 that wasn't picked by Joshua or Wilder Whyte fights who is left Curious to know why top seed AJ would pick Parker, when he's already fought him in the most boring fight of his career and Breazeale is way worse
Everyone picks Breazeale, he's the easiest and safest option. Remember, Ugonoh nearly had him out, he was a big punching bag vs Joshua … Whyte's not picking Parker again unless he wants to make a statement, he could easily lose a rematch. Parker was about 30 seconds from finishing him off in the 12th last time.
If Fury is his old self I agree he wins. Still think AJ would pick him though reckoning he isn't. And if he is Wilder is getting his **** pushed in Dec
Because he knows that he gonna beat him easily. QF Joshua vs Parker Ortiz vs Povetkin Wilder vs Breazeale Whyte vs Fury SF Joshua vs Ortiz Wilder vs Fury F Ortiz vs Fury W Fury very close.
AJ being 1st seed, would pick Fury as he's the only unseeded fighter AJ hasn't beaten. AJ walks down the feathered fisted Fury and Fury's classed jaw is exposed again. AJ win by stoppage or KO within 3 rounds. 2nd seed Wilder in typical Wilder fashion picks the easiest, most inactive and out of shape fighter in Breazeale. Breazeale takes a couple of rounds off Wilder before Wilder brutally KO's him in between rounds 4 -8. 3rd seed Ortiz picks Povetkin. With Povetkin having already beaten Ortiz in the amatuers and having by far the strongest resume of the two in pros it's hard not back Povetkin in this one. Late round stoppage KO win for Povetkin. Whyte vs Parker - I had Whyte winning the previous fight between them even with ignoring the KD that wasn't a KD. However, I believe Parker thought that KD was legit during the fight and you saw his confidence was gone and also had issue struggling to adapt to Whytes physicallity for the majority of the fight . When Parker found success later in fight and his confidence began to grow it was telling that Parker is the more skilled fighter of the two. However it was just too little and too late turn that fight round. If the two fight again I predict late stoppage win for Parker. Semi: AJ vs Parker - I see AJ fighting similar to their previous fight, fighting with caution and using the jab to comfortably beat Parker again. Semi: Povetkin vs Wilder - Povetkin superior technical abillity and combination punching shows in this matchup. I see Povetkin clipping Wilder early in this with Povetkin having more of a killer instinct than Ortiz had against Wilder and getting the job done. Early to mid rounds KO win for Povetkin. Final : Povetkin vs AJ - I can see it being similar to the last fight with Povetkin taking a couple of early round before AJ stops him again and this time earlier.
And he doesn't know that about Breazeale? Who he already beat way more easily than Parker with glandular fever?
Lol at whoever had the sense of humor to vote for Big Dom winning the tournament! If someone looks at this list of boxers, looking for the name that doesn't belong, it's got to be him.
