hi billy has there been any more news on who ricky burns will be fighting in liverpool

here the wbo top 15...nicky cook has been mentioned but he is not ranked and should not be either...if as expected burns vs perez (mandatory) is next then who do you think rick should fight??

daniel lomeli would be my choice as its still a voluntary...21-2 11 kos so not a big punched and is only 5,6...the old cesar soto beat him last year

    RICKY BURNSGB

If a mandatory was due we would have heard about it. Perez is with Goldenboy and they would want the fight in the US.

Reckon it will end up being Nicky Cook.

I guess so. Cook is the best opponent since Martinez.

Cook being English has nothing to do with him being better than Evensen and Laryea! They were just terrible opponents.

I think that would be a good opponent for John Simpson if he were to move down, it would be a great little fight imo.
