I suppose I best put every penny I have on it then, will make up for a reduced Chrimbo bonus this year
It might be a combination of xmas bonus and redundancy pay...... because no ****er is building anything. If there are any property developers out there please drop me a PM!!!!! I thought you worked for yourself?
Interesting group of housing estates ??? Its like beiruit lol. I was about 20 at the time and me uncle had just picked me up from the airport. We were passin the main pub in the centre of neilstown(name i cant remember) and there was a copper on the floor who'd just been pulled of his horse. His scalp was hangin/flapping while the *******s were throwing bricks at his horse. My uncle screeched up trying to scare the little ****ers off, bad move. They smashed every window of his car.The policeman was in a state of shock, and would'nt allow us to help him, his head wound was horrific. You get good and bad everywhere, but these were no older than 14 which i find incomprehendable. The loch and quay is as far as i venture them ways now mate lol. Fill us in on a northside story mate, theres nothing quite like listening to some old dublin storys in a pub over there, i love it.Some great great characters in that city....
I'm in Operations not MD. I do have other buns in the oven though but currently my employer is very busy so no time. :good
looking at your record jeff you had a good start to your proffesional career winning your first 6 or 7.then they didn't mess about they started to put you in with people like mcAllister, burns, murray and hardcastle did you have a feeling then that you were being rushed or were you happy with those matches at the time?
I beat Mcallister and Hardcastle... I took Murray and burns at a couple of days notice. I won the first two rounds Vs Murray according to the ref and I thought I was worth a draw with Burns having won the first and shook him in the third.... But such is life.. They were all tremendous fighters and it was an honour been able to do the sport i love at such a good level.
I suppose if you feel you have been ripped off by a referee it causes you to lose enthusiasm to a degree, especially if it happens more than once.......
I cried my eyes out after the Hardcastle loss... I put everything into it and won 8 of the ten rounds and scored a knockdown... it was an incredible fight, a real war and Hardcastle was a good fighter and a right handful. I've got it on VOB file on my PC... I'd happily convert it if someone can point me in the direction of a decent free convertor.
Was it a referee decision or judges - because I don't have a clue as to how a ref can be expected to score a fight and ref at the same time...... Would be even worse if the opponent thought he had lost as well!
Mcallister and brendon ingle both told me I won and when they read my name out after the fight I got a standing OV from 2000 aberdonians who had been singing flower of scotland for the past half an hour. Suffice to say if I had of been 7-0-1 and British masters champion I would never have fought Burns or Murray at 2 days notice.
None whatsoever.... My only consolation was a place on an Ingle card at super feather against Hardcastle in his hometown... lol... I did keep 100% of the ticket money which was quite an impressive amount to say the least.
Not even if it is a blatant rip-off? I assume it is dismissed as sour grapes...... There should be a scoring judge at ringside for every fight - let the referee referee.
