Most of the criticism of him is petty (this thread), inaccurate (the guy who made a thread and denied Bunce said it was a hard sell) or naive (the guy who wanted him to say the Enzo fight was fixed).

That's nothing to be ashamed of in my opinion. We all do (or should if we are ambitious) things to further and improve our career. The problem is that Bunce's USP is 'telling it like it is' and being a 'fan like you or me'. That is the angle that won his popularity, and unfortunately, that is the angle which people will hang him for now - since signing on to be ******'s mouthpiece is the complete opposite to that. People are disappointed, and feel cheated by a perceived false persona they believed in. But as a career move, he had to make that decision.

Can anyone see the parallels with David Haye?

Best way forward from here IMO, is that Bunce grows a thick skin and accepts to himself that he can no longer market himself in the same way. No need for people to keep sticking the boot in though. And no need for people to worship him or feel honoured to have him on this forum - you may notice he adds very little value to it apart from publicising his shows anyway.

Good luck to Bunce. He cashed in his popularity chips for the Boxnation gig. Deal with it.

Yep i did already realize that, my comment was a loose one but i still feel it's pointless on here with some. He may as well just do what other people from other companies do and just not reply to 'bunce baiting' .

You (on BBC London, check back) and Steve Lillis via twitter were reporting as fact that Ricky Burns vs Kevin Mitchell was happening in May or June but didn't know Ricky was getting married so don't come over as if you know everything that is going on and then start spouting pish on twitter accusing people of being anti-Scottish when they weren't.

At least engage in a debte rather that telling someone to **** off.

Only reason I'm posting this is because I know you post here and I can't be ****ing arsed getting involved on that Twatter bollocks.

Yeah I agree but If you come on a forum you have to be prepared for it! There's always going to be someone who wants to try and wind you up.

Mate, I think Billy Nelson is a top trainer and I enjoy the fact that he posts on here, but Billy has accused a few people of being anti-scottish on here and on the boxrec forum.

Bunce may have been one of them but I cant be arsed searching for posts to check. I also remember he said something similar about Ringside too. Hardly crime of the century, either way.

Bunce can have his opinion on me but to be honest i DONT GIVE A **** what he thinks,he clearly assummed Ricky v Kevin would be in London,Steve it may have escape your attention but the Olympics are not in Scotland and this would allow the fight to take place north of the border.
