    FAO Pacquiao fans..............

You should pipe down about the Mayweather fight imo, cause if Mayweather beats your man, which he has a strong possibility of doing IMHO, you will begrudgingly have to give Floyd his props.

I get the impression that Manny fans, and fans in general, the ones that dislike Mayweather intensely, dislike him so much, that they are living in hope as much as expectation that Manny will beat him, and Roach isn't helping the situation IMO, cause he's making people think Manny IS going to beat him.

Only reason I say this, and this might be messed up psychology on my part, but I dont want Mayweather to get any props piggy backing on what Pac has achieved for himself over the last few years, cause to me, Boxing is a sport where you cant always gauge whether your going to beat someone till you actually get in there and fight them, styles make fights, now you can minimize the % of losing by fighting lower echelon fighters, smaller guys like JMM(although not calling him a lower echelon fighter, just smaller), smaller guys who cooperate with your style, Hatton, but when your fighting the best consistently, like Manny has, and there bigger guys, irrespective of style advantages, the risk % goes up that you might come unstuck, which is where Mayweather will unfairly be stealing a march on Pac imo, he will take unwarranted credit for beating Manny, if he beats him, and that just does not sit right with me, cause its unethical on Mayweather's part, and it will leave people with a false perception of how good he truly is, cause I bet there are a number of top fighters who are capable of winning a one of fight if the circumstances are right.

I hear the Mayweather detractors say, well Manny beat a dead at the weight ODLH, but no one knew! then, that ODLH was going to come in, in that kinda shape, which is why so many picked him to beat Manny, by KO. I heard that the bigger Cotto, Hatton were tailor made after the fight, but you had guys like Malignaggi claiming Cotto will beat him, Manny Steward claiming Hatton! will beat him, but after the fact they are hand picked, easy fights? What ever you say about Hatton, Cotto, Margo, ODLH, they are all, were all in Oscar's case, top fighters, and at the end of the day, that is just a cherry on the cake to go with the great names he's already! beat, guys like Marquez, Barrera, Morales, he's already! been in with these type of guys, so drawing comparisons between him being a cherry picker, and Floyd being a cherry picker, are not comparable imo, which is why his resume clearly trumps Floyd's in most peoples eyes, that said, I do agree that the Mosley fight is laughable, a joke, that it should not be happening, although im not ready to claim Manny to be Mayweather esque in the cherry picking department, not with his resume.

Make no mistake about it, Mayweather fans want this more than you Pacquiao fans, but only because they know one fight will potentially wipe the slate clean for their guy, the guy who has been mugging Boxing fans off the for the last few years. Mayweather fans also know, he has good stylistic advantages in the fight.

I dont want it to happen cause I believe it will tarnish Pacquiao's legacy, that I dont think Manny will win, that it will simultaneously prop up Mayweather, when Mayweather doesn't deserve it imo, not with the way he's strategically gone about picking opponents. Pac should be rewarded for what he's done for Boxing, whilst Mayweather should get the biggest kick in the balls god has to offer, only this fight could potentially marginalize Manny's reward, and hand it straight to the con man of Boxing, Floyd Mayweather.

Controversial, possibly fuked up psychology, but that's my take........

I agree perception is not reality, but think about that for a min, cause it works both ways, just cause you think Floyd might be reluctant to fight him, and you might be right, it does not equate to, Manny WILL beat him.

I think the most frustrating thing about Floyd is if he has all the talents, the ability, all the tools to beat all the top fighters when he entered the WW division, then why didn't he ****ing do it?

He could probably beat Cotto. He could beat Margarito. He could beat PWill. He could be Clottey. All of them. But he ****ing didn't even try to. And is ****ing frustrating.

Agree, and sometimes it not about who you beat, it can be as much about who the fans want to see!! you beat.

If Floyd has advantages against the likes of Cotto, Margo, which most of us agree, then why did'nt he fight them back then, why not execute and show us? cause we need actual proof!, not perception of what he might do, what he's capable of doing.

I think we saw a glimpse of that in the Shane fight. Floyd walked him down and beat the **** out of him here and there. I was watching a choppy feed on my ship in the middle of the Persian Gulf but that's what I remember seeing.

Too late. The American media was too obsessed with hyping up and celebrating emmanuel. When Floyd beats that AZZ, it's onto the UK!

Pac's legacy is set in stone win lose or draw against Floyd. I keep trying to explain to you guys that a short while back it was considered crazy for Pac to fight Floyd even at a catchweight below 147. Now he's gonna fight him at the full 147 limit. History will look back and say "Damn that Pacquiao was a crazy m*therf*cker for doing that". And you better start giving Pac some respect too cause if he beats your boy up your gonna have alot of explaining to do. But not really cause we already know the excuses will come out AFTER the fight.
