Bull**** about pbf fans wanting this fight more than pac fans.

Well size and reach can play a major part but being sensationalist look at Haye-Valuev Rnd12 the size and reach were irrelevant I see floyd frustrating pacquaio to the point were he goes all out, Like how everyone was saying that Hatton was learning to polish his fighting style with mayweather senior then went out against pacquiao with no head movement and a letter on the end of his left hook or uppercut reading "Dear manny, here comes my punch"

It would be a great win but let's not blow it out of proportion cause if Pac take's Floyd's undefeated record that Floyd is a fighter who yea he is a great fighter and a 5 weight champion but what exactly is his best win? Jose Luis Castillo? Half promoter / half fighter Oscar de la Hoya?

Also this thing about style kind of bugs me cause people think Floyd's style is a nightmare for everyone. If Floyd's style is a nightmare for Pac then who's style is a nightmare for Floyd? And is Floyd great until he beats that guy?

IMO I think Floyd's O matches up well with Pac's D, but that PAc's O matches up well with Floyd's D as well. I think that means that the offenses will be pitted against each other and the edge goes to Pac by a landslide in that department.

Size and reach is very relevant though, when you know how to use it , which elite fighters do, which is more often than not, why the saying, that a good big en, will beat a good little en, generally rings true. Valuev is a guy with no foot-speed, no hand-speed, a lack of ring IQ, and if anything, he's actually too tall, tall to the point where it becomes a cat and mouse game rather than a Boxing match, he's also one paced as hell.

I do think if Floyd were to lose, that his reputation could be severly damaged more than Manny's, cause people might actually start to think he was overrated all along, it will be, he struggled with Castillo, he got SD against an aged DLH, then got beat by Manny.

Well im not too sure but is it a 3 inch reach advantage for floyd? I think because of their skills that wont come into play as much even though floyd is terrific at using it unlike Paul Williams for example. I could be wrong and floyd could use it and potshot his way to victory but with this fight he will want more, his ego will want him to embarass pacquiao, I see pacquiaos patience and floyd timing pac to play the biggest part in this fight

yea Valuev is a shitty comparison because he sucks. When a guy knows how to box and is face to face with a smaller man, it's alot easier for him to keep that smaller man at bay with a hard jab and some movement than if the guy is fighting a guy the same size or bigger who might be able to walk through a couple of punches. As much as Pac has proven he can walk through some WW punches, it would still be even easier for him to walk through the punches of a smaller less powerful jrWW.

that being said Pac has taken several fights to grow into the WW division and proven himself elite at that weight so I would still give Floyd some massive props if he pulls off this upset (upset in my eyes at least).

Being the potshot artist is enough to embarass emmanuel. I had casual fans running up to me in real life telling me Marquez "wasn't trying" in the May-Marq fight.

    5 inches I think.

I dont see any patience with Manny, I really dont, infact I think that's why his pressure wont be effective, he doesn't know how apply educated pressure whilst keeping his D in tact.

I just see this fight being too big in magnitude for floyd to just potshot his way to victory, I think he will really try and stop pac ( obviously as that is the goal of all boxers) but i mean he will go out with the plan to do so

Who would expect him to employ an offensive focused gameplan v pac? No1 expected him to walk down shane pre fight

Yeah i agree I was referring to how long manny can keep mentally focused before he gives up and employs his all guns blazing style which will eventually happen at some point in the fight

Got ya. I reckon that will be what he's reduced to when he works out that he's getting dominated from range by Mayweather, he will resort to trying to shake Mayweather out of what he's doing, he managed to do that against Marquez at times cause JMM is hittable, whilst Cotto is hittable and! gets embroiled in a fight too much, but im not sure that will work against Mayweather, especially given Mayweather will be operating from further out, meaning any potential gap he has jump across with his left hand, will be bigger, which will give Mayweather a split second longer to find a counter imo.
