Far to much Burns overating on here

Burns is one of Boxings good guys,but i think Mitchell will stop him,i know he beat Katsidis but the Aussie was there for the taking after being in so many wars..

 

Burns beat undefeated Earl easily, Earl Had Kats all over the place years later, Gave Alex Arthur pure hell, took on a much more experienced Carl Johanneson, was down 3 times, heavy body shots, but still got up and finished the fight. Then when he linked with Billy Nelson, really came into his own.

Amazing performance against Rocky Martinez, a few gimmes, then moved up and battered Katsidis, then outclassed Paulus Moses. Next, hes gonna batter Mitchell, then go on and hopefully batter Mr Broner

 

Mitchell is probably the most overrated British fighter on these boards.

There's no probably about it.

The way some fans (and purported experts) think he's going to magically find things that he's never shown before against anything more than domestic level fighters is ridiculous, frankly.

He's second only to Broner in the overrated stakes.

 

Well prepared Mitchell is a hanfull for anyone.... Or something

 

Burns is a decent world champ I think .Definltley hope he wins there's huge fights for him in the next couple of yrs .Don't know what it is with Mitchell why he got destroyed of Kats and then handled Murray the way he did .Also Murray done not too bad against Rios after ( 11 tko ) .Kats's relentless style I think it was Murray looks like a bit of a plod and stands in front of him .Style wise good for Rios the both of them just swing at eack other .You say 50/50 been generous and non biased I say atleast 60/40 Burns favour .

 

burns is the most improved fighter i have seen for a few years , he has a skill level that probably isnt good enough to compete at the top level but has worked hard to improve his game and what he lacks in natural talent he seems to compensate for by hard work and dedication which has led to some fantastic performances , on the other hand mitchell is a far more gifted fighter but what the advantage he has in that department is often nulified by his lack of discipline and dedication , both of these combinations is what is making this a mouth watering domestic fight that i cannot wait for

Ricky Burns is the best Lightweight in the world. He needs to get the big names and prove how good he is.
