Farce of a fight, Stiverne has no business being in the ring tonight.

Stiverne wasnt in shape to fight,he didnt train at all obviously.

 

Stiverne should have never been the mandatory. One fight in almost 3 years and struggled in that win.

The WBC should have made Stiverne face someone else to earn the mandatory after the Povetkin fight was off.

Not only did Stiverne not deserve the mandatory slot he showed up out of shape and didn't even seem interested in fighting in the first place.

Still, Wilder ko'ing him in one round like that was an impressive result.

 

Disgraceful sham. People should get their money back. All jokes aside the WBC should be ashamed. Stiverne never should of been allowed in the ring as the mandatory. Put a mans health at risk just to make a fighter who NEVER fights anyone remotely good to look better than he is. Boxing at its ugliest.

 

Wilder has made a pretty bold statement albeit against a guy who hasn't had a relevant contest in 3 years.

 

You really believe that? Just because a fighter begs for a fight doesn't mean he deserves it. Briggs begged Wlad for a fight doesn't mean he deserves it. If you're static as a statue in front of a much taller guy with faster hands and power you can expect to be KO'd. Simples.
