It was a quit job by Scott but the ref helped him out. These UK refs really require better training so American fighters beware.atsch
Fast count sure but then he should be up before the count off 9. If I would be Malik I would go up at the count of like 6-7 not wait that long.
You guys are full of shite and the reason being a Boxing fan is so damned annoying. A fighter shouldn't have to get up at 8 to avoid a ref screwing him. Just like seconds shouldn't have to worry about jumping out of the ring so the ref doesn't disqualify the fighter. Officials are given authority to wield it properly not to rip off fighters and fans if given the opportunity. And it damned sure isn't the fighter's fault when a crap ref takes that opportunity to rip off the fighters and fans. Scott got up in more than enough time. The ref obviously fast counted him and waived the fight off. The ref had been biased the whole damned fight. Chisora was wrestling, holding and hitting, and the ref wouldn't call a break. Scott, fighting to get away, uses a forearm and the ref starts warning? WTF? Where is the break? Where is the warning for Chisora for holding and hitting? That fight was rigged from the start. That said Chisora looked great. I was truly impressed. His body work was vicious, his pressure relentless, and his occasional elusive bursts to close distance masterful. I really felt he was taking the wind out of Scott's sails and I am a huge Scott fan. Now he has this BS to tarnish his win. I feel Dereck was robbed as much, if not more than Scott.
No he shouldn't. You should get up before 10. A fighter shouldn't have to account for the REF trying to rob him. :bart What insanity is this? Could you imagine this mentality in any other high level sport? :blood
