I've read he's possibly going to fight Derrick Rossy in early 2011, not a match I'm too excited about since Chambers beat him handily before. But after almost a year off I guess Rossy ins't a bad choice, Chambers will beat him again but Rossy will give him some good rounds in the process. It will be good to see Chambers back. He is either a favorite or atleast even moneywith any heavyweight not named Klitschko(and I think he gives Vitali a decent fight). After beating Rossy I'd like to see him back in with another top heavyweight.
This from site that has news: On Monday, Lindsey E. Tucker, Jr., Championship Chairman of the IBF/USBA sent a letter to representatives of former WBC Heavyweight Champion Samuel Peter, as well as representatives of former cruiserweight/light heavyweight champion and current heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek inquiring if the two would be available to fight for the #2 spot in their rankings. The winner of the proposed bout would then fight the winner of a box-off between “Fast” Eddie Chambers and Derrick Rossy (who will battle for the #1 position) for the mandatory shot at IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko. “Samuel got an early Christmas present from the IBF in the form of this elimination fight and we’ve been going back and forth with Main Events about making it happen,” said Peter’s long-time manager Ivaylo Gotzev.
I spoke to Eddie last month on the phone, he said at that point they were working on an IBF tournament. I like Eddie, he's a cool guy and I'd like to see him succeed.
I had nothing to do with the interview that was posted up earlier, but I may post up the interview I did with Eddie before, although I think most things we spoke about were covered in this interivew, which was also very funny!
An eliminator to face wlad that includes 2 guys he has beaten already, Rossy and Adamek? Come on! Stop recycling these opponents. Wlad should fight haye in april on a dual card Vitali-Adamek and Wlad Haye...i would pay $100 PPV for that card!
Klitschko-Peter III? atsch Fortunately, it will never happen. Klitschko is too well insulated in that scenario. There's no way Peter is getting by Adamek and Chambers.
