Well, he obviously still is a contender if he's entering a box-off for a #1 spot. :deal

That's indeed prety good shape outside the ring, but still I think he is too small to compete with current big HW's. Even though he poses a great threat to most HW's, I think he is too gifted and should compete in the smaller weight divisions...

I think Adamek would be a real test and a fight for Chambers.

He is a fantastic boxer with great skill and speed, no question. He is still top five/six in my book, and I can see him beating Peter and Arreola.

I'd like to see him rematch Povetkin.

I'd rather see those two vying for Cruiserweight supremacy (as they would be the 2 best right now). :deal

They should seriously consider a HW tourney and including Wlad or Vitali, Haye, Adamek, Chambers, Dimitrenko, Povetkin and Solis.... it would serve to clear up the current jam log between K-bros/Adamek/Haye and could possibly produce some surprises. Anything else is not too interesting at this point.

I like Chambers a lot. Unfortunately, the most exciting bit of his Klitschko fight was when he tried to lift him up and body slam him. Didn't win any 30 second span of the whole fight. More Klitschko than Chambers, to my estimation.

Well, it certainly isn't a knock on him that the greatest active heavyweight (a monstrous super heavyweight, no less) completely shut him out when he himself should arguably be competing at 200lbs.

He's still young. Once WK retires, there is a good chance Chambers could inherit the throne if he stays active, motivated and on top of his game (consistently challenging himself, while avoiding the giants).

Still think Chambers will win, but Rossy is a lot better now than the first time they fought.

Wow, is the heavyweight division that bad that they have to recycle Wlad's opponents that much? Wlad just DESTROYED Peter. He beat Chambers pretty bad, too. Not that Chambers is bad, but he just lost in his campaign for the title. I can agree that not too many other fighters deserve a shot, but that just goes to show that there are really only 3-5 actually viable contenders for the heavyweight crown.

it's a combination. wlad could be like holmes and avoid a number of top 10 contenders for years and spread out his reign:D (just kidding...kinda)

im surprised noone has ever mentioned Haye-Chambers.

I'd favor Chambers to outbox/outspeed him and to win fairly easily (even though it would say SD by judges)

I don't take credit away from Wlad, but for only a small handful of fighters deserving a shot at the title; even after they fought for it and lost? I think that is outrageous. Take nothing away from the few viable contenders or the champions, just that there are only that many in consideration.

Peter and Chambers lose, somebody else should get a shot. Unfortunately, not many other fighters deserve the shot.
