Fast Eddie Looking to Give Coyle a Rematch

Well see, i reckon Eddie wont want anything to do with Commey, who won an eliminator last night by ko'ing truscott .:happy

 

Derry doesn't need it imo, at this stage of his career he should chase big fights like rematches with Crolla and Rees, and perhaps fights with Mitchell and John Murray. Him vs Murray would be a scorcher!

 

Deserved, he fought a great fight and got caught with a perfect shot

 

He won't get a re match Derry doesn't fancy it, too risky for little reward

 

Derry is a Dave Coldwell fighter. Eddie said he will make a offer to Derry and Dave for the rematch even though neither fighter belongs to his stable.

Truscott is damaged goods and has been for years honestly.

 

No way would Derry take the rematch. Was very fotunate on Saturday night, but take nothing away from him, brilliant shot. Had a nice little double, Derry n Kell KO paid 8 to 1

Can't help but think Derry has rode his luck for the last year or so.

 

Someone else has said about a rematch and Derry shot it down. I don't think he would want to go through that again. I don't actually blame him but at same time i would feel even more sad for Coyle if he wasn't to get a chance to rewrite that wrong.

 

Derry was getting totally outboxed I was quite impressed with Coyle apart from the punch he got caught with, he deserves the re-match to right the defeat but could probably go on to better opposition without it.

Can see Mathews v Mitchell next both will make decent £ out of it.

 

Mitchell beats Matthews easily imo

 

Agreed Mitchell would stop Mathews but it's a good fight domestically will make both decent money at that level & SKY would certainly like the fight.

 

There's no wrong to right, Coyle got ko'd, it doesn't matter how far ahead you are on the cards you've still lost...
I don't think Derry shld take the re-match, i can't see him magically being able to compete with Coyle, speedwise. There are other fights he can take, try and milk that Commonwealth belt before he hangs 'em up...
