Fres is a proud guy. Maybe he didn't want to embarrass himself.

Either he’s a complete imbecile or he’ll still somehow retain his title shot.

Makes no sense he’d turn down 1M at this point.

Oquendo is trash at this point, long past it. The Romanian is a better match up for the offensive lineman.

    Wow, that's intriguing!

Of all of the EU heavyweights, Dinu is the guy in the last decade that looks the most talented. I look at the guys from the 2016 olympics for instance and I'm just not blown away. It's been a long time fighting nobodies though.

    Miller TKO-10

Oquendo has a career now taking step aside money from different promoters well into retirement. Why give that up? If Miller wins, Oquendo gets his step aside cash cow in Hearn.

However, Oquendo eventually turned down a $500,000 offer for the bout because he did not believe there was enough time before the fight to adequately implement a Voluntary Anti-Doping Association testing program, a source with knowledge of the offer told ESPN on Wednesday

I think from what I remember, Dinu has always been in trouble, since the amateurs and just never got it together. I think this scared off American, and even German promoters. His whole career has been in Canada (any Romanian can get into Quebec) and Romania.

very sad waste of talent and the opportunity to turn his life around, if true.

Miller-Dinu is a good fight. Well it´s good on short notice and a definite step up from Big-O.

If I was the WBA i'd order Fres to fight Miller now, just to get back at Fres.

He who laughs last and all that.
