Yes, certainly Dempsey. I find Marciano's footwork to be heavy/slow and clumsy/awkward.

Look at the Willard fight ..Dempsey's light on his toes almost a little gallop..
..He's not planning to throw merely his fists at the giant.
Its his body weight he's going to throw at Willard an explosion of nearly 200
pounds..How many guys you know can take a 180 pound rock dropped off a roof
landing on top of their head ?
He's in is prime as a fighter and his body weight is moving like lightning... He knows Willard is expecting Dempsey to move straight
towards him Willards been practicing an uppercut to nail him with..He knows Willard killed a man with an uppercut thats how strong Willard its ..So he comes forward skips back ..forward back ..The first explosion is a four punch combination i suppose having a 180 object dropped from our roof
    give you a idea...
    .
The funny thing is if Dempsey would never came around and Willard maybe fought Fulton and retired Klitschko fans today would see that as proof that you get a guy that size in the ring and he's unbeatable Regardless of anyone else's skill level .. I will admit if Willard was around today he would probably be champion..
With todays fighters Willard would dominate...Willard could take the best punch of todays current crop
But todays glass jawed cream of the crop would get schooled

Dempsey had faster feet, Marciano had better timing and made less mistakes, which is more important.
