faster hands joe louis or larry holmes?

    Holmes wasnt a slow fighter by any means but the answer is Joe Louis & its not really a difficult question to answer.

    Probably Larry, but Joe wasn't far behind.

    Lets say that you could argue it either way.

    Their isn't much debate about who had the better power.

    It is good that Holmes is getting his due, but he was not the second coming of Louis.

    It depends on what u mean . I mean holmes tower louis but is just a tad slower so it depends louis was the faster combo puncher.

    Louis threw his punches shorter, quicker and much more powerful than Holmes.

    Holmes fought NOTHING like those 3 guys! I think Holmes and Louis would be a great fight, though and I lean towards Louis. Very tough fight for both guys, though!

    Interesting poll result. A prime Larry Holmes had in my opinion by far better handspeed than Joe Louis. I recommend watching Holmes vs Norton and just watch a few rounds and you will see how super fast Larry Holmes' combinations were.
