I disagree, in his prime he was clever with his set-ups and counters, slippery with his upper body movement, and when he had his jab going, he threw it at an angle while shuffling just like Ray Robinson did.

Yeah shanes style almost reminded me a little bit of Ray Robinson. He didnt have the boxing ability of ray obviously, but he seemed to emulate him a little bit. That flicking jab with the strong overhand right reminds me of Ray.

Just look at Leonard during Leonard-Duran I: that guy was FAST even though he was being hit and pressured!

I don't think Sugar Shane can hold a candle to Leonard. Yeah...it's one thing being fast, but an altogether different thing to be fast under pressure.

For shear speed in combo punching, have you ever considered Meldrick Taylor?

    okay okay....you got me :D

out it this way, between prime lenoard, jones, taylor I can't see any much difference...all lightning speed, but who can tell who the real #1 is, I can't...equal to me

Leonard was always so loose and punches came off smooth and fast. Mosley is always tense looking and stiff and shots don't come off nearly as smooth. Mosley sometimes look like he's forcing his punches, even though they are fast. I'd give definite edge to Leonard
