Weaver had guile and that's a trait you'd better have when you give up a big spped advantage to the other heavies.

A terrific example of his guile is when he fought Oliver Phillips Pre Holmes. He was badly cut but baited him similar to the Truth, and then landed a brutal shot and sent the guy through the ropes. Funny how guile is never a big trait listed, but heavies that have that skill do manage to find success in that division.

He was my favorite heavy during that era and he also owned one of my favorite alltime cars--that Stutz Blawkhawk of his. What a car.
