In 2008, Jones is still pretty damn fast with his hands. Not as fast as a few years back, but still damn fast. Mosley and De La Hoya are pretty fast as well for someone older than 35. And of course Calzaghe, the fastest boxer North of WW and not only his hands but his feet as well... And of course there are other veterans with great hand and foot speed.

Can you name fighters from the modern era and the boxing history who remained very fast despite their age were closing to 40?

Who is the fastest veteran fighter ever?

last week, even at age 35, i was still amazed by penalosa's handspeed and combinations. he looks deceptively slow but when he releases those hands, zap, boom, bam!!!

mosley was still quite fast on the trigger when he fought cotto at age 36 and so was marquez at age 34, though not as fast as pac, still has the speed to counter and beat pac on some of the exchanges.

It's funny but Herbie Hide is pretty fast with his hands at 36 even for a CW. Anyone else?
