No, Tyson`s combos came from everywhere, his timing was insane, even Dundee said this.

The jabs he threw before that were pretty slow.

Yes I agree with you. But he could be predicatable.
His patterned right hook to the body, followed by
the right uppercut is an example.

He was growing as a fighter but lost focus, his left hook was predictable to because he would move too much before he threw it which was a "tell" on when he was going to throw that punch.

Also, Haye is probably the fastest official cruiser.

What about Usyk ? i'd say Usyk, Haye, are fastest Cruiserweights overall, then next in line would be guys like Cunningham, Holyfield.

For what it's worth, Henry Cooper challenged Ali when Muhammad scaled just 201 pounds, then was knocked out by Patterson in his very next bout, both in mid 1966. He stated that Floyd's hand speed was superior to Ali's straight up. In fact, Cooper did make Ali miss a few times, but couldn't make Patterson miss.

I believe Patterson did scale 200-1/4 for Tod Herring in 1965, and carried it extremely well. In Ali's very next bout after Cooper II, he unloaded that finishing shoeshine on Brian London. Ali's best overall performance was with Cleveland Williams, but it's hard to imagine he was faster than he had been at 201 for Cooper II.

The best performance moment for Louis was the quintuple hook on Max Baer he unloaded to end round three. It shouldn't be ignored. Only the quick fisted Galento ever beat Louis to the hook. (When Tony decked Joe, Louis first pulled his left elbow back, while Galento only came forward with his hook.)

I'll never forget what Camacho did in his television debut with Loy. Hector's right jab was a machine gun.

Usyk has quicker feet, in and out landing fast shots.
