Patterson and Jones are pfp 1&2 imo. Gary Russell Jr or Meldrick Taylor might've been the quickest ever Midget Wolgast deserved a mention as well
GRJ is ridiculously fast. I'd give a guy like Khan an honourable mention. He was about twice as fast as Canelo in their fight, and ginger is no slouch himself.
Nishioka. Guys literally called Speed King. Hasegawa. Like a southpaw machine gun. Very fast of hand and feet. Amazing wins over Sahaprom.
That’s a good call. Also bear in mind that he was past his best at almost 30 at the time and was fighting Alvarez at a catch weight 155Ib which was at least two weight divisions heavier than when he was at his best and when he was at his fastest.
Meldrick Taylor when talking about multi punch combos. Hector Camacho at jr.lightweight as well. Pre- Toney Michael Nunn. Roy Jones was the fastest puncher Ive seen in terms of single shot speed. Ray Leonard go throw blazing combos WITH power- check out his destruction of Andy Price. Mayweather was the fastest counter puncher Ive seen. Thomas Hearns threw the fastest jab Ive seen and it had power behind it. Id say Roy for single shot speed and Ray Leonard for combinations and Taylor for flurries. Camacho was super fast as well- check out his Rameriez fight. Nunn vs Tate see how fast Nunn was. He made Tate look like a statue.
