Watch young Camacho's fights at 130 and you'll see the fastest hands ever.

That one greek roughly 2,500 years ago had pretty fast hands, too.

We've agreed on Howard before. I do think Camacho at 130 may have an edge over all other southpaws though.

Among those who we lack peak competition film of, Greb seems to enjoy a wide consensus.

Jimmy Jacobs used frame by frame analysis of Robinson to help him rate a peak Ali as faster straight up, not just in a P4P context. What Muhammad did in finishing up Brian London never ceases to amaze. That Cooper rated Patterson's hands as even faster causes more pause for thought. (It also makes the idea of Floyd defending his title against Robby kind of frightening, if Ray indeed had the slower hands. As D'Amato said, Ray would've had to have been suicidal to try Patterson.)

Relative to weight division, Jones Jr. certainly has to be up there.

I think Leonard did punch for punch. Blinding flurries and could put pop behind his speed.

    Floyd Patterson, still.

Eye poppingly fast shots in his prime, especially considering how big the dude was.

I love how another thread asking this very same question with the same answers every time pops up on here every 15 minutes.

I'm not trying to be a ****, but this flood of averageness thats flooded Classic lately is numbing. I don't even enjoy coming here anymore, not as much as I used to anyway. :-(

I think Patterson, not Ali, was the fastest heavyweight of all time.

Dokes 80-83 gives Floyd a serious run for his money in the speed department.
