I agree. I've watched that video on youtube many times, and want to get his career set just for his early fights when he used his speed to swarm opponents. I'm not a fan of Meldrick Taylor, though probably the quickest, seems like pitter-patter shots to me. There's got to be some power behind it. Hector Camacho Zab Judah RJJ
Yes i should have put him many think he had the fastest hands ever at heavy and ALi the most mobile... Dont know bout that one but Patterson should be up there. Michael Nunn was also very very fast at Middleweight.
Meldrick Taylor had the fastest hands of all. Lots of other honorable mentions above but Taylor hands down.
It gets funnier each and every time you do that, just so you know. You need not worry about running the risk of becoming stale after the 800th time. Although, to be frank, without the usual "everyone who posts about fighters I don't know is a wannabe, everyone who posts about Mike Tyson and the Fab 4 is genuine" schpiel, it lacks that added burst of flavor that has become such a Pachilles staple. Don't start slackin' now.
Four words, bro. Or often just a 'Duran'. Thats what the **** i do, i do what i do. I dont think about it, it just happens now, it is what it is and it was. No need to reply, im not looking for one
Sugar Ray Leonard was the fastest of all time in my opinion. After him it's up for grabs between Roy Jones, Meldrick Taylor, and Hector Camacho Sr. A pick of a lesser fighter with great handspeed is Floyd Mayweather Sr. He showed some superb handspeed with single punches against Leonard. Those punches were overshadowed by Leonard's amazingly fast combos and flurries.
Ricardo Delgado,,,,,,,,Mexico 1968 Olympic Gold Medal Winner 112 lbs. Nobody ever quicker than him, at age 21. Was a good professional. Went undefeated in his first 15-bouts, then hurt his shoulder versus Davey Vasquez in 1971. Never the same. Chrondek Timing tested his speed. He was listed as the fastest in 1968.
